DRS Athletics is committed to sports performance training no matter what sport you participate in. The programming that we employ at DRS Athletics is suitable for any athlete in any sport. If you are looking to increase any aspect of your game, including speed, agility, quickness, power or strength, we can help you.
Our coaching and training programs can also dramatically improve your mental game. From finding your limits and safely increasing your capacity for endurance to simply being able to go further in tough situations, we train you for it here.

LEVELS OF TRAINING PROGRAMS:
Youth Speed and Performance  (Ages 8-11)
The Youth curriculum places a high priority on running technique, athletic coordination, balance, and relative strength as well as the introduction of essential muscular movement patterns. These are vital in establishing an athletic foundation for improved performance, injury prevention, and long-term enjoyment of sports participation. This is a foundation program for most athletes.

Competitive Speed and Performance  (Ages 12-14)
This program is focused on progressing and maintaining athletic movement abilities while refining and ingraining the fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power. In this age range athletic fundamentals begin to be developed and directed towards athletic skill application. Middle School athletes need continual development of proper neuromuscular patterns. This repeated rehearsal leads to permanent and positive athletic change as well as solidifying the  foundation already established during the youth program. There is an introduction of strength and conditioning exercises during this program.

Elite Speed and Performance  (Ages 15+)
The Elite training continues technique refinement and the incorporation of more sport-specific elements. Most athletes in this age group have developed proper neuromuscular patterns and the fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power.  This training is designed to build on those foundations and to provide additional pieces needed to enhance sports and athletic performance. The strength and conditioning part will be highly emphasized during this training, including barbell work, resistance and plyometric work.
 
Adult Program
The Adult programs are designed for active adults looking for a challenging training routine to help maintain a healthy lifestyle and reduce injury risk. The sessions are designed to enhance metabolism, body composition, endurance, overall fitness, and even athletic movements for adult sports participation. No two sessions are alike and all are fun, fast-paced, and educational. The training is much different than a traditional gym- based workout.

Professional Athletes
The training programs for Elite and Professional athletes are designed to provide peak physical stimuli that push the absolute limitations of elite athletic performance.  Due to the maximum intensity nature of the sessions, the training includes recovery and regeneration elements.  The program places highest emphasis on applied and measurable performance while also fine-tuning sport-specific movements.  Timelines to reach goals and exceed expectations are accelerated for this athletic population due to the elite competitive schedules and real time demands. This program is the most demanding in terms of time, planning, programming and nutrition which is all included in the package program.

Team Training
The Team Training program is designed to deliver a challenging workout that is organized, educational, progressive, and customized for each team. Training sessions focus primarily on speed enhancement, explosive movements, multi-directional skills, and power and energy system development. The program content is periodized for off-season, pre-season, and in-season training and the performance training can be general or sport-specific accordingly to each team’s needs. We have found this program to be extremely successful in terms of team building and team performance success.
